Has anyone ever used a over the counter diet pill that worked? How much did you loose?

Looking to loose 50 or more lbs with the help of an over the counter diet med, but don’t want to throw money away. Several years ago my Dr. put me on phen phen and I lost weight and it stayed off until I got pregnant. Now the med is off the market and found to cause heart defects, so I don’t feel it is an option. Any suggestions?

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

No, you may get small temporary results at best. Excercise and how much you eat is the key.

Dont, all they do is dehydrate you, basically all the weight you lose is water. Try a different method, walks, sit ups, push ups, also! eat right!

    Try walking to Wal Mart.

and in the afternoon ( evenings) has
    helped me big time..

Make sure you are not on meds.

Go with Lipo-6, or something simular to fat burning supplements. Drink A LOT OF WATER! Can’t stress that enough. Boost your water intake by 140oz if not more.

Good luck, research it on google!

The only pill I’ve heard that you can now get is ‘ ali ‘. Basically you are put on a strict diet (you can’t be eating anything unhealthy i.e. chips, soda, candy, pizza) and things that you aren’t supposed to be eating … well … it’ll come out the other end. Unfortunately with most diet pills, you’ll drop weight but quickly gain it back so your weight will fluctuate. If you’re looking to loose 50lbs – the BEST way is simple diet and exercise. You don’t have to be working out hours a day in a gym – a simple 30 minutes or even 15 minutes a day will do magic to your body. Also little changes like taking the stairs instead of an elevator, and parking far away instead of close to the doors will do miracles. Watching what you eat and how much also works!

    Good Luck -

Don’t do it… just exercise and eat right: those diet pills will mess up your metabolism, your mood, and your cells. I suppose you could try Tonalin CLA, but most diet pills on the market are horrible.

I don’t think any pill will just drop the pounds. If you listen to the commercials on TV or read the fine print at the bottom it say will lose weight with exercise .. so basically its just a helper?? I don’t know why anyone would take the pills since your exercising you don’t need them. But if you want to lose weight start drinking more water about 8 cups a day or a big glass before you eat. You can use a littler plate or bowl so your not eating as much, and try to get your heart rate up. hope this helps

i recommend the morning banana diet that will help you lose 15 pounds in a month or two.
    this is what you do:

breakfast: eat banana and drink water ( no soda or juice)

lunch: eat whatever you want ( but do avoid saturated fat and lipid food) and water

dinner: eat whatever you want just like lunch.

you can have snacks: a little bit of sweets is ok but dont over do it

30 min of moderate exercise( walking, jogging, stretching, house chores)

continue for a month and you will see result.

there is an article about this diet method. you can search for that as (morning banana diet) using the google or yahoo search engine

good luck and have a fat- free new year!!!

There are many different types of "diet pills" and some work better than others so you need to understand how and why they work to choose the right one for you. Read some of the articles about this available online at http://www.weightlossfatloss.us/diet_pills.asp
