are weight loss products harmless?

i just wached tv, and there is so many advertisments on weight loss products. I don’t believe in them, but i’m wondoring if those pills can dammege your body? If some one had an experience with some of those products, please let me know if you satisfy with the results and your health after using it. Thank you in advance.

Hi Kate! I think that I’ve tried every weight loss pill and diet imaginable! I’ll be honest with you, the only thing that has worked is changing my diet, I became Vegan, though vegetarian is almost as good (and less dramatic), I walk leisurely, about 20 minutes a day, to the post office and back and get plenty of rest. I’ve lost 56 pounds so far and I’m looking forward to losing more.

I hope this helps. Some of these weight loss products affect your liver, (you only get one of these!) as well as the kidneys. There are lots of side-effects to everything that we put in our mouths, I’d much rather it be good, old fashioned, healthy food! You might be interested in a book entitiled, "The China Study." After reading it you’ll probably swear off meat forever! They have directly linked cancer, diabetes, obesity and coronary heart disease to the consumption of dairy and animal products.

I hope this helps. I realize what a jungle it is out there when you are desperately trying to lose weight and hoping that there is something out there to help you. If you just eat right, walk every day and get lots of sunshine, you’ll find your body losing weight all on it’s own. It doesn’t want to be overweight, it just doesn’t know what to do with everything that we throw at it!

Best of luck to you, my fellow weight loss enthusiast!

Let’s say they are "useless", ok? Think about it: if they worked, everyone would be trim. Some have a lot of caffeine and stimulants that make you feel energetic. Most have natural substances that do god-knows-what. If you go out of the country, you’re gonna get diet pills with "speed" in them. Just stay away….that’s the best thing to do. And if you’re interested in a good, nutritious diet, check out "The New Sugar Busters Diet". You’ll lose weight and won’t be hungry….AND…it’s very educational. Godloveya!!

No way, they are just advertisements to garn ignorant people to it. One of my aunt was on that and now is facing many problems including heart and kidney problems. Take care, dont get fooled.
